Dr. Mario Frick
Dr. Mario Frick is Managing Director of Adurion KG since December 2003 and a partner at Advocatur Seeger, Frick & Partner since January 2002, a law firm specialized in business competence and socio-economic matters. Prior he was elected Prime Minister of the Principality of Liechtenstein from 1993 to 2001. As Prime Minister he was chairman of the cabinet and, among others, in charge of the Ministry of Finance. During his term in the office, Liechtenstein joined the European Economic Area (EEA) and the connected European Legislation was implemented in Liechtenstein Law. Since March 2005 he is also President of the Liechtenstein Chamber of Lawyers. He studied law at the University of St.Gallen where he obtained the doctorate in international civil law.
Daniel S. Aegerter
Daniel Aegerter is Partner and Founder of Adurion KG which he established after the successful merger of his enterprise software company TRADEX Technologies to Ariba for $5.6 billion dollars in March of 2000.
Daniel's first business venture was DYNABIT AG, which was founded in 1988 as an importer and distributor for high-end digital publishing peripherals. He had led the company through 12 years of steady growth and consistent profitability, growing its revenue from 0 to 30 million dollars. TRADEX was spun off from DYNABIT in 1996, after DYNABIT created its own Digital Market and decided to sell its software to other market makers.
Daniel is credited as a visionary behind Digital Marketplaces, having recognized early on that the most powerful model to structure B2B Commerce over the Internet is through Digital Marketplaces. He started his career at Swiss Bank Corporation as a management trainee and was involved in both commercial and investment banking.
Daniel serves on the Advisory Board of several private companies.
Martin Rechsteiner
Martin Rechsteiner is Director of Adurion KG since January 2013 and is involved as Advisor in the daily business of the family office of Daniel S. Aegerter. Previously, he worked for UBS in Zurich and Chicago in Senior Operations functions in the asset management of alternative investments. He studied Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
